Context
Technical inspections often lose rigour when evidence is split across notes, photos, and retrospective summaries. The requirement here was clear: capture decisions and evidence at source so conclusions could be challenged and defended.
Approach
Verified structured the workflow around explicit outcomes and evidence continuity. Inspectors recorded what was done, when, against which specification, and with which result. Drafts remained flexible; completed records became immutable.
What changed
- Pass/fail and tolerance decisions were made explicit before narrative summary.
- Failures and uncertain outcomes carried attached evidence for review.
- Inspection reports could be generated from source records without reconstruction.
